City police and RCMP are telling people to stay home or you'll get stuck and no help will be available for a long time. Corporal Bobbi Simmons of the city police says they haven't had any accidents this morning. She says residents are heeding their advice to stay home. Transit Buses are off the road for the day while City and province workers are off until at least noon. Meantime the end of the storm is no where in sight with another 20-30cm in the forecast. "

The world is closed. Even the army is on minimal staffing and plows and tow trucks are periodically off the roads. J's working on the snowblowing and I MAY be able to get out to work by noon or 13:00.
