"hillbillie" is a short version of my yahoo handle, i.e. "hillbillycavewoman", an appraisal of the level of my computer skills according to my kids, when I first got online, in 2001. Or 2.

"hillbillycavewoman" was too long according to LJ, and "hillbilly" was already taken.

Why thank you, Ma'am. i'm appreciating Time Enough for Love more and more as I mature into my white hair.

BTW, your icon looks like a logo for the place where I used to live. It was called Pine Hill. Though there was one HECK of a hill, we never did find any pines on it. My road was called "Giant's Glen Road" because at one time, all the people who lived there were remarkably short. I guess with that kind of logic, a hillbillycavewoman would be familiar with technology of the twenty-fifth century.
