It seems to be a great year for peonies! I'd like to grow some, but I don't think they'll like zone 9.

It looks like it would be a crap shoot without any serious cold (http://www.paeonia.com/html/peonies/grow.htm).

They are fussy things anyway. I have one that I'm going to have to move. I may be dreading that as much as the peony is.
