Snow

Really, snow is a full sensory experience.  Photos cannot do it justice.  There is nothing like awakening in the early hours of the morning to intense stillness and then look out of windows illuminated by light refracted through millions of crystals. 

And then you go bundle up to go out and move tons of water with a blade on a stick.  Going to work hours late today, if at all, since even the two universities are closed until noon.

You brought back one of my favorite memories, one that is hard to capture. There is nothing like snow-light.
